Hi Whinny.org, Thank you for your help with the advertizing my Houghton Show Cart. I do have a potential buyer I am working with now. I would like to inform you that 4 days after my add went up on Whinny.org I was contact by a David Dickson saying he wanted to purchase my cart and would I stop ad. Well after a few weeks of contact he sends me a check for twice as much money as the asking price he said extra was for shipping. He said to deposited it in my account and wait further instructions. He wanted me to western union the extra money back to him. Well I went to the Citi bank to check the funds so that I could cash the check. The bank manager said it was not a real check and no such account exists he said it was fraud and could he take copy of the check and envelope to report to their fraud department. Well with some investigative work and friends help thank god I was not scammed but I want to make you aware he is prowling your web site for bigger items and potential people to scam. I don’t know can you put anything up on your site to warn people?
