THE FRACTURED FEMININE SPIRIT
This painting is a reflection of the fractured feminine principle as I see it in our modern world. This fracture has caused men and women to close themselves off from their intuition (within wisdom). My braid is my sweetgrass connection to mother earth and the cutting of it symbolizes the loss of my anscestors right to walk with the earth.
