|
Rolling Oaks Farm is a full service
training, boarding, lesson and sales facility which encourages
anyone with a desire to be around horses to do so. Our aim is to offer riding or driving opportunities to all. Whether it is just trail riding or showing on a national level, we have thirty years of expertise to make it happen. |
|
At Rolling Oaks Farm we try to customize lessons in hunt seat, saddle seat, and western riding on well schooled lesson horses or on a clients own horse. All lessons are booked in advance and are one-half hour in length. For those who wish to be more involved, Rolling Oaks offers them the opportunity to learn to groom and tack.. However, grooming and tacking can be done for those who do not wish to actively participate in pre-lesson preparation.. Rolling Oaks Stable offers 10x12 and 10x10 box stalls with full or partial care. There is a 60 x 144 indoor facility available for all clients. A heated lounge afford clients a warm place to rest in the winter. An outdoor lighted ring surrounded by a small track completes the basic facilities. Other services include turn outs, body-clipping, sheath cleaning and assistance with purchasing tack or riding apparel. In addition, the property has been cleared and planned in such a way that riders have access to open and tree lined areas to work their horses when they dont want to be in a ring.
For those who like trail riding, Wilton
Wildlife Preserve has trails nearby. Many of our clients enjoy
hours of cross country riding. |
Our show program includes U.S. Equestrian Federation shows at the local and national level and smaller shows sanctioned by local associations. We encourage anyone interested to come and visit us at these shows. Rolling Oaks invites anyone with a love of horses to visit. New clients are always welcome.
